Texans linebacker Brian Cushing returned to the locker room Monday night after suffering a knee injury early in the second quarter vs. the Jets, and according to his team, he's done for the night.

With 10:36 to play in the first half, Jets quarterback Tim Tebow handed off to Bilal Powell for a three-yard gain, and in the middle of the action, New York guard Matt Slauson undercut Cushing from the blind side (it was a legal cut block, by the way). Immediately, Cushing grabbed his left knee, and it looked like he was in a significant amount of pain.

Cushing walked off under his own power, but he went to the locker room soon after limping slightly.

Entering the game, Cushing led the team with 24 tackles.
