So, you think you're a fan of whatever team you follow? You have season tickets or numerous game-worn jerseys? You live and die each Sunday depending on how your team fares?
You've still got nothing on New Jersey resident Don Martini, who spent two years and $20,000 building a 20-foot-by-17-foot model of the old Giants Stadium that is, well, ridiculous in its detailing. I mean, the guy made 65,000 tiny seats to fit inside.
“People think he's nuts, first of all,” said his laughing wife, Janice Martini, in the video below, via the Newark Star-Ledger.
Seriously, check out the story. It's awesome and absolutely crazy -- especially the details on how he made all those seats and what he plays on the TVs that represent the stadium's video boards. But it's guys like Martini, whose obsession seemingly knows no end, who make the sports world go around.
