Here's what we know: Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has had a tough season and a lot of it has to do with the suspect offensive line he plays behind. Also: coach Andy Reid has what doctors call a little bit of a weight problem.
We're not judging, just mentioning it in light of the latest tweets courtesy of Vick's brother, Marcus.
Yeaaaaa! Try everything n your handbook to save your ass FATBOY!!!!— Marcus Vick (@MVFive) November 19, 2012
It's reasonable to assume Marcus Vick, who went on a tirade during the Eagles-Saints game that saw his brother take a beating, was referring to Reid above. And the "handbook" could've been in reference to a Yahoo! report that Reid was hitching his wagon to rookie Nick Foles for the rest of the season in the hopes of saving his job. (That plan didn't work out so well.)
Michael Vick apologized for his brother the last time he took to Twitter to express his thoughts. On Tuesday, Marcus explained:
I never mentioned Coach.— Marcus Vick (@MVFive) November 20, 2012
U people find anything to pick at. Step off my tweets PLEASSSSE!!!! It's not that serious. Everything don't involve football.— Marcus Vick (@MVFive) November 20, 2012
Fair point, Marcus. Books and obesity aren't confined to football, they pervade all walks of life. Whatever he meant, the bottom line is the same: Reid is likely done in Philly and Vick won't be far behind.
