|Yes, that is a mustache on Quinn's face. (US Presswire)|
You see that mustache on Brady Quinn's face in the above picture? Your thoughts on the matter? Not too good, right?
Yeah, the Chiefs quarterback isn't a big fan either.
“I hate it,” Quinn said, via the Kansas City Star. “I think I look absolutely ridiculous, so I apologize to every Kansas City fan, the organization, as well as anyone who is just a fan of me. I apologize.”
The reason Quinn and former starting quarterback (and current backup) Matt Cassel are growing mustaches is because they're participating in Movember, which brings publicity and charitable donations to fighting prostate cancer.
Unfortunately for us, it doesn't sound like Quinn's upper lip intruder will last into December. If only he would give it a few more months, he could really have something impressive there.
“It looks terrible on me, so I'll be excited to shave it off this week,” Quinn said. “We're trying to bring awareness to prostate cancer. A lot of men are out there facing that battle, so we try to bring awareness to it in a subtle way.”
Either way, good for Quinn. Making yourself look ridiculous for a worthy cause always is highly recommended.
