Atlanta airport catches employee who egged Saints bus

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

When the Saints came marching in to Atlanta last Thursday for the Week 13 opener, they were met with a rude surprise as an airport worker -- presumably a Falcons fan -- egged their team bus.

The eggman, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, was caught by authorities and has since quit his job.

DeAllous Smith, spokesman for the Atlanta Hartfield-Jackson International Airport, told the AJC that the suspect, who worked at a restaurant within the airport, was questioned by police.

Neither the person nor the restaurant were named by the airport, but the restaurant will be fined, the egger is no longer able to access the airport (at least as a worker), and the investigation is over.

It's a friendly reminder that sneaking onto the airport tarmac to sling eggs at a football team's bus is probably going to get you fired from your job, regardless of whether or not the opposing team finds it amusing.

So let's pour one out for the eggman, shall we?
