Jason Avant helps out Nick Foles with wonderful catch

By Josh Katzowitz | NFL Writer

Not much has gone right for the Eagles this season, though rookie quarterback Nick Foles has played well enough to take over the starting job from Michael Vick for the rest of the season.

And without running back LeSean McCoy and No. 1 receiver DeSean Jackson playing in Sunday's game vs. the Buccaneers, leave it to Jason Avant to make one of the best catches of the season (via SB Nation) to help out his new starting quarterback.

It is fairly outstanding.
