A number of high-profile players were either ruled out for Sunday's Giants-Falcons tilt or were questionable to play. Atlanta wideout Roddy White was part of the second group, but he's going to play.
Kim Jones of the NFL Network reported on Sunday morning that White's knee injury won't keep him out, and the Falcons didn't include him on the inactives list when it was released later on.
White has never missed a game in his eight-year career, which is pretty astounding considering how many times he has been nicked up throughout his career.
But getting him on the field is a big deal, even if he's not at 100 percent: the Giants are going to be thin in the secondary without cornerback Prince Amukamara and safeties Kenny Phillips and Tyler Sash.
That gives Atlanta a real opportunity to take some shots down the field; even if White's not the guy they're taking shots to, having White out there will go a long way towards helping free up Julio Jones in the passing game.
