The Ravens and the 49ers are playing in the 2013 Super Bowl. (Or, as it's known by us fancy-folk, Super Bowl XLVII.) Don't know if you heard or not, but John Harbaugh and Jim Harbaugh, who coach these respective teams, are brothers. It's a pretty big storyline.
But there are other important things floating around the Super Bowl that you need to know about. Like, say, what uniforms the two teams will be wearing. Thankfully, they let us know via social media on Tuesday.
The Ravens, who as the away AFC team team, will be wearing white for the Super Bowl. they noted as such on a page on their website dedicated to the release of the uniforms and posted a picture of the jersey on Twitter.
They'll be rocking the white away jerseys for the February 4 matchup between the franchises and have both the Super Bowl XLVII patch as well as a patch commemorating Art Modell. They'll also be wearing black pants along with the jersey, which is what they've worn the last two weeks as well.

The 49ers, meanwhile, created a cool video (which you can watch here) about the making of the jerseys and posted a picture on their Facebook page. They don't mention the color of their pants in the video, but I'd have to assume they'll be gold.

Interestingly, the 49ers have worn these home jerseys during three of their five Super Bowl appearances ... and won all three. Of course the 49ers haven't lost in the Super Bowl, ever, so perhaps that's a bit misleading.
The combo of the red and white takes away a little bit of the Ravens color scheme when it comes to being represented, but it's a good pairing of the respective colorways.
