The Seahawks made a big play on Monday to land talented-but-troubled wideout Percy Harvin from the Vikings in a blockbuster trade. That deal became official on Tuesday and now it looks like Harvin's gotten the reported-as-required extension along with the trade.

And the numbers are pretty stout: Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports Harvin got a six-year, $67 million deal that replaces the final year of his rookie deal, which was worth $2.775 million.

Of that deal, $25.5 million is guaranteed ($14.5 million fully guaranteed, another $11 million injury guaranteed after the fifth day of the league waiver period, per Florio).

That's quite the investment in Harvin, especially when you factor in the three picks -- a first and seventh in 2013 and a third in 2014 -- that the Seahawks gave up to acquire him.

But Harvin's the type of player who can dramatically change an offense.

If the Vikings can keep him happy and healthy, he's worth it. There's plenty of risk involved with the deal, but they've gotten him a quarterback, a winning team and the money he wants. There's not much that Harvin can complain about at this point.
