As my colleague Will Brinson pointed out after Day 2 of free agency, the Seahawks have put together an impressive haul this offseason. Already, they gave up three draft picks in a trade for Percy Harvin, and they signed defensive end Cliff Avril to a bargain two-year, $15 million contract.

Now, they get Bennett, who contributed nine sacks for the Buccaneers last season. But in Tampa Bay, he was stuck behind Adrian Clayborn and Da'Quan Bowers, and for $5 million, Seattle has gotten itself quite a deal.
This adds to the Seahawks' already impressive roster of pass rushers, which includes Chris Clemons, Red Bryant and 2012 first-round pick Bruce Irvin. Oh, and Avril.
The Seahawks defense, already so impressive last season, now boasts those five quality pass-rushers to go with linebacker Bobby Wagner and a secondary that includes Richard Sherman, Brandon Browner and Earl Thomas.
Not a bad couple of days in Seattle.
