Arrington has been with New England the past four years, and he's appeared in all 16 games in each of the last three seasons. His production dropped off significantly last season after compiling 88 tackles and seven interceptions.
On the other side of the ball, the Pats are in the middle of rebuilding their receiving corps. The team signed Danny Amendola earlier in the week after Wes Welker opted to head to Denver, and signed wide receiver Donald Jones to a deal earlier Friday.
The Patriots appear to be interested in keeping Lloyd, though not at the $4.9 million salary cap hit they would have to endure in 2013. If both sides can agree on a cheaper price, though, Lloyd could be back in New England.
