Former Arizona safety Adrian Wilson spent his Friday touring New England's facilities and it looks like he liked it so much, he doesn't plan on leaving. The 12-year veteran has signed with the Patriots, according to XTRA Sports' Mike Jurecki.

Wilson will go from a franchise that's had 10 non-winning seasons in 12 years, to a franchise that hasn't had a single losing season in that same time span.

The five-time Pro Bowler is one of only four defensive backs in NFL history to record at least 25 sacks and pick off at least 25 passes.

Wilson had spent his entire 12-year career in Arizona before the Cardinals released him on March 8 in a move that saved the team $3 million against the salary cap.

In an interview earlier this week with Jurecki, Wilson, who turns 34 in October, said he still can play. "I feel like I have three years left," Wilson said, via sportsradiointerviews.com. Wilson also said that playing for a contender would be the best-case scenario for him, which makes New England an even better fit for the four-time All-Pro.

Wilson has started 162 career regular-season games since being taken by the Cardinals in the third round of the 2001 draft. The player he replaced in Arizona's lineup? Pat Tillman.
