Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay hinted last week that the team wasn't done with free-agent signings, suggesting that Indy was in the market for a wide receiver. They may have their man, as Darrius Heyward-Bey will visit the Colts on Monday night and Tuesday.

Heyward-Bey perhaps isn't as splashy a get as some expected -- Victor Cruz was floated as a possibility -- but he would be a solid outside receiver and an upgrade from the departed Donnie Avery.

The former seventh overall pick in 2009 had four seasons of varying success in Oakland, his best coming in 2011 when he had 64 catches for 975 yards and four touchdowns.

Heyward-Bey would join Reggie Wayne and T.Y. Hilton in quarterback Andrew Luck's arsenal, and he'd be a logical choice to fill the void at outside receiver.
