Antoine Winfield allowed zero touchdowns in coverage and graded out as the NFL's best run-stopping corner last season. Not bad for a 35-year-old.
The Vikings didn't want to pay the three-time Pro Bowler $7.25 million. They released him, with coach Leslie Frazier stating he hopes to have Winfield back. Washington also has shown interest.
In their first two seasons, Sherman and Browner combined for 21 interceptions. Sherman was a first-team All-Pro last season and Browner made the Pro Bowl as a rookie.
Seattle can offer Winfield the most money. The Seahawks have about $9 million in cap space, more than Minnesota or Washington, according to TwinCities.com.
