When it comes to running backs, the Bengals are going to stick with what they know.

After working out Felix Jones this week and showing reported interest in Ahmad Bradshaw, the Bengals are done kicking tires on veteran running backs and have decided to bring back Bernard Scott on a one-year deal, according to USA Today's Mike Garafolo.

Scott has been the team's No. 2 running back since 2009 when the Bengals drafted him in the sixth round out of Division II Abilene Christian. In 2011, while backing up Cedric Benson, Scott ran for a career-high 380 yards and three touchdowns.

However, Scott had an injury-riddled 2012 season where he only touched the ball eight times.

The 29-year-old missed most of the preseason and the first two weeks of the regular season with a broken hand. Scott eventually made his 2012 debut in Week 3, but then missed the team's Week 4 win over Jacksonville with an ankle injury. Scott returned in Week 5, only to tear his ACL, which caused him to miss the rest of the season.

Other teams interested in Scott included the Oakland Raiders, who he visited with on Wednesday.

Cincinnati also signed free agent offensive lineman Mike Pollak on Friday. Pollak was limited to one game with the Panthers last season after injuring his shoulder. The former Arizona State Sun Devil was a second round pick of the Colts in 2008 and started 41 games for Indianapolis during four seasons with the team.

Pollak, who can play both guard and center, will provide some additional depth on the offensive line for the Bengals.
