Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley has often been criticized for his propensity to drop passes. But he plans to turn a negative into a source for good.

In 2012 alone, Finley dropped six passes in 85 targets while catching just two touchdown passes. Still, that comes out to $4,000, and, to be sure, any amount donated is commendable.

Other players have also stepped up to donate money after Monday's tragedy at the Boston Marathon, including new Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola.
