The good news for Tebow is that he could possibly play quarterback for a real football team that would pay him actual money to do it. Unlike, say, the Jets, who paid Tebow a lot of money to not play quarterback.
The bad news though is that the team is called the Beef and would pay Tebow $75 per game. With only six games left in the season, Tebow could potentially pocket $450 from the Beef, a lot less than the more than $2 million he got from the Jets last season.
The news actually gets worse for Tebow, the team already has a starting quarterback and he's good, at least by CPIFL standards. Beef quarterback James McNear has thrown 21 touchdown passes and only two interceptions through six games, and he thinks he could even help Tebow. "I think Tim can learn a lot from me," McNear said. At least it sounds like Tebow would have a friendlier relationship with McNear than he did with Mark Sanchez.
For you Beef season-ticket holders, don't get too excited reading this because there's a zero percent chance Tebow will accept the offer. On the other hand, you should be excited because you can get a picture with Beef mascot 'Sir Loin' anytime you want. Seriously, the mascot's name is Sir Loin.
