Jaguars sign CB Marcus Trufant

Less than two weeks after the Falcons drafted his little brother, Desmond, in the first round, Marcus Trufant has a new job as well.

The Jaguars announced Tuesday that they had signed the former first-round draft pick, and in a corresponding move, they released cornerback Antwaun Molden.

Trufant has spent his entire 10-year career in Seattle, racking up 21 career interceptions and two touchdowns. But he missed most of the 2011 season with a back injury, and the Seahawks released him in March 2012 before re-signing him before last season and playing the former Pro Bowler in a backup role.

The move to the Jaguars makes sense, though, since new Jacksonville coach Gus Bradley coached Trufant when he was the defensive coordinator in Seattle.
