Major league baseball managers and NFL coaches don't always get along, just ask Jets coach Rex Ryan and Baltimore Orioles manager Buck Showalter.

The two men feuded in April when Ryan bashed Showalter and the Orioles for not moving their Sept. 5 home game so that the Ravens could open the 2013 NFL season in Baltimore.

Or you can ask Royals manager Ned Yost, who was almost arrested on Tuesday for trying to watch the Chiefs practice. Yost had been jogging around the Truman Sports Complex -- a facility the Royals share with the Chiefs -- when the incident occurred. "I ran today and almost got arrested for a taking a peek at the Chiefs doing their minicamp. They surrounded me with their security," Yost said. "I'm not going to sell any secrets."

Despite the stories mentioned above, there are some NFL coaches and major league managers who seem to enjoy each other's company, like Eagles coach Chip Kelly and Phillies manager Charlie Manuel. MLB.com writer Todd Zolecki took this photo of the two men talking on Wednesday.

What were they talking about? Who knows. If Manuel was recommending restaurants in Philadelphia, it probably wasn't a taco restaurant because the Eagles aren't allowed to eat tacos anymore. If they were talking about injuries, it was probably a short conversation because Kelly doesn't talk about injuries.

Manuel might have been trying to convince Kelly to root for the Phillies. Philadelphia was playing Boston on Wednesday and Kelly -- who grew up in New Hampshire -- is a Red Sox fan.

Whatever they were talking about, it probably ended with Manuel inviting Kelly to the Phillies next game. After all, Kelly is a good luck charm -- the Phillies beat the Red Sox 4-3 on Wednesday.
