Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson and agent Drew Rosenhaus have parted ways, according to NFL Network's Albert Breer.

The split comes less than 15 months after Rosenhaus negotiated a five-year, $47 million deal for Jackson that included $15 million in guaranteed money.

It's not clear who initiated the split, but a report from Philadelphia magazine's Tim McManus suggests the breakup may have been Rosenhaus' doing. According to McManus, Rosenhaus believes Jackson owes him money.

Jackson's new deal, which he signed in March 2012, is set to pay him $6.75 million in 2013, with $4 million of that being fully guaranteed.

After 2013, Jackson's contract is basically filled with option years, according to McManus. If Jackson were to remain under contract for the duration of the deal, it would cost the Eagles $10.25 million in 2014, $9.75 million in 2015 and $8.25 million in 2016. Basically, Jackson could potentially find himself in spot where he needs to renegotiate his contract after the 2013 season.

Jackson and Rosenhaus are still on speaking terms, and McManus reports there's still a possibility the two men could resolve the situation.

If Jackson does owe Rosenhaus money, it wouldn't be the first time. In November 2011, Pro Football Talk reported that Jackson owed Rosenhaus "hundreds of thousands of dollars."

On the other hand, Jackson and Rosenhaus could be done for good. According to USA Today, Jackson has a strong interest in signing with Jay-Z's Roc Nation agency. The rap mogul's agency is currently being probed by the NLFPA to see if it violated any of the union's regulations during its pursuit of players.
