This isn't at the level of "The Patriots signed Tim Tebow?!" but the Redskins have been busily adding bodies to their roster.
"Bolstering" euphemisms aside, Donte' Stallworth and Devery Henderson are curious additions if for no other reason than the Redskins are well-stocked at wide receiver.
As it stands, Pierre Garcon, Josh Morgan, Santana Moss, Leonard Hankerson and Aldrick Robinson are options 1-5 on the depth chart. Stallworth, meanwhile, appeared in just one game for the Patriots last season, and Henderson managed 22 receptions with the Saints.
Both players are on the wrong side of 30, and their NFL careers have generally fallen short of expectations. Then again, Stallworth and Henderson could be camp bodies the team could re-sign during the season if there are injuries at the position.
Either that, or the Redskins front office thinks it's 2006.
