While Brazill made only 11 catches and one touchdown during his rookie season last year, his absence makes things a little more difficult for quarterback Andrew Luck, who now will be without the player who could have been his No. 4 receiver.
Brazill is eligible for the preseason. But once the regular season begins, he can't return to the team until Sept. 30.
In March, owner Jim Irsay let it be known that the team was looking to upgrade at the receiver position -- the Colts did so by adding Darrius Heyward-Bey -- and said Brazill “must develop a strong commitment to his craft."
