You probably won't hear any current New England Patriots talk about Aaron Hernandez, but that doesn't mean former Patriots can't talk about him.
Former New England offensive lineman Matt Light, who spent 11 years with the Patriots, including playing two seasons with Hernandez, was asked about his former teammate on Tuesday.
"I never talk about other guys, but I will say I have never embraced -- never believed in -- anything Aaron Hernandez stood for," Light said, via the Dayton Daily News.
It's only 22 words and one sentence, but it says a lot about how Light feels about his former teammate, especially when you consider Light said this before Hernandez had been arrested or charged with murder. Light won three Super Bowls with the Patriots before retiring after the 2011 season.
Light's feelings may have been shared in the Patriots locker room. Back in 2010, Hernandez reportedly cussed out former Patriots receiver Wes Welker because Welker wouldn't show Hernandez how the video equipment worked at the team's facilities.
Of course, what former teammates think about him is the least of Hernandez's worries right now. Not only was he charged with murder on Wednesday, but authorities now believe he might be connected to an unsolved double slaying that took place in July of 2012 in Boston.
