The funeral for Odin Lloyd, the Dorchester, Mass., resident slain earlier this month in what prosecutors call an execution-style killing, took place Saturday at Church of the Holy Spirit in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood, the Associated Press reports. Hundreds of people were attendance, according to WCVB.com.

Former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder in the shooting of Lloyd. He's currently being held without bail.

Authorities also have two other suspects in custody -- 27-year-old Carlos Ortiz and 41-year-old Ernest Wallace.

Hernandez is also being investigated for a 2012 double-killing that took place in Boston. One theory is that Lloyd, who reportedly lived in the same neighborhood as the two men killed in 2012, might have had information about those deaths.
