If you'd thought you'd heard the last of kicker Billy Cundiff, already dismissed from 11 NFL teams in his nine-year career, the Jets are interested in reminding you that Cundiff still wants to play NFL football.

The team announced Tuesday that it had signed Cundiff, and he'll compete with Nick Folk for the starting job. According to the NY Daily News, it's a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum.

Though he hasn't actually played games for 12 teams -- in fact, he's participated in regular-season games for just five squads -- here are the uniforms Cundiff has worn throughout his career.

Cundiff's best group of seasons came in 2002 and 2003 with the Cowboys and 2010 and 2011 with the Ravens. Folk, meanwhile, made 77.8 percent of his field goals last season. While that certainly isn't at an elite level, it was also Folk's best percentage since 2008.

In order to bring in Cundiff, the team announced it had released kicker Brett Maher.
