Chiefs offensive lineman Eric Fisher, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2013 NFL Draft, has agreed to terms on a contract and is expected to sign it before practicing on Friday, according to CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora.

When Fisher gets to training camp, the 22-year-old left tackle will most likely be lining up at right tackle. New Chiefs coach Andy Reid has gone on the record saying that the team's franchise-player, Brandon Albert, will be lining up at left tackle.

The Chiefs first practice of training camp is scheduled for Friday, so with a deal now in place, Fisher won't miss any time on the field.

Fisher was the No. 1 overall pick in a draft that was offensive tackle heavy. Five of the first 19 selections in April's draft were offensive tackles. The former Central Michigan lineman was the first Mid-American Conference (MAC) player ever to be taken with the No. 1 overall pick.
