No sooner had we written that Randall Cobb suffered an injury during Tuesday's training camp practice -- turns out it was a bicep injury -- and note that there should be a little concern for Packers fans than did things get a little bit more nerve-racking with Mike McCarthy's announcement that Jordy Nelson is out for the rest of training camp.
Per McCarthy, Nelson will miss the rest of the Packers offseason program after undergoing a "procedure" on his knee.
Nelson played in just 12 games in 2012 -- and just 10 of which were starts -- with a hamstring injury, though he did still manage 49 catches for 745 yards last season.
That was somewhat of a disappointment after a breakout year in 2011 when Nelson caught 68 passes for 1,263 yards while emerging as one of Aaron Rodgers favorite targets.
Still, for a team as likely to challenge for a Super Bowl run as Green Bay, there've been an awful lot of injuries (even minor ones) to major players pretty early in the season.
