Patriots QB Tom Brady participates in light practice Thursday

By Josh Katzowitz | NFL Writer

With Patriots quarterback Tom Brady injuring himself during Wednesday's practice, there was good news when it was reported that he likely would practice Thursday and that he potentially could play vs. the Buccaneers in the team's second preseason game.

And true to the report, Brady participated in the team's walk-through Thursday in preparation for Friday's game. Both teams dressed in shells and helmets and went through a light workout.

As the Boston Globe noted, Brady was wearing a brace on his left knee.

As CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, Brady suffered a minor sprained knee when Buccaneers defensive end Adrian Clayborn pushed Patriots tackle Nate Solder into Brady.
