Tim Tebow is still a Patriot. At least for now.

New England cut its roster down to the NFL-mandated 75-players on Tuesday and Tebow wasn't among the players given the ax.

Although Tebow didn't get cut on Tuesday, two players did and those players were tight end Evan Landi and defensive lineman Anthony Rashad. Landi had only been on the roster since Aug. 13 while Rashad had been with the Patriots since mid-July.

Tebow played zero plays in the Patriots last preseason game, but keeping him around actually makes a lot of sense. The Patriots still have one preseason game to play on Thursday and with Tom Brady expected to spend all four quarters on the bench, Tebow will most likely to see some playing time. Tebow and Ryan Mallet are the only quarterbacks besides Brady on the Patriots roster.

If Tebow's going to make the Patriots final roster, he'll have to survive one more round of cuts.

Each NFL team has to have their active rosters down to 53 players by 6 p.m. ET on Aug. 31. If you own a computer or smart phone and your computer or smart phone has an internet connection you'll know by 6:01 p.m. on Saturday if Tebow has or hasn't been cut.
