If you've ever wondered what it takes to win Super Bowls, the answer's secret sauce -- and if you're wondering if the Dallas Cowboys have it or not, they do. At least according to executive vice president Stephen Jones.
"We're convinced we've got the secret sauce to put this thing back together again and win championships," Jones said, via the Dallas Morning News. "We can always be better. We look for ways to be better. We do that both on the field and off the field.
The Cowboys may have the secret sauce, but one thing they don't have is a healthy offensive line, something Jones acknowledged.
"It's getting there," Jones said. "It's obviously something that we just started experimenting with last week, so to say you're just totally comfortable with it, I don't think anybody realistically would say that."
Despite the problems on the offensive line, Jones still envisions the Cowboys winning more than eight games.
"Our commitment when we started was no more eight and eight's," Jones said, referring to the Cowboys record the past two seasons. "I think we've got good personnel. I think we've got a great staff. I think we can do that. We need to stay healthy. We need to stay focused. We need to get better every day. And I think we'll be better than 8-8."
