Far be it from me to mock someone for an editiorial mistake. I don't need that kind of karma in my life, honestly. But the photo that's circulating the Internets on Friday morning is very much worth mentioning, as the Columbus Dispatch apparently thinks that it was John Elway and not Peyton Manning who threw seven touchdowns on Thursday night against the Ravens.
Oof. The "good" news here is that Elway is a Broncos legend and he is currently with the Broncos and, though it's a little blurry, you can see they got Peyton Manning's name right in the first paragraph of the story.
Unfortunately, you can also see how the Dispatch managed to botch the second "graf" (fancy newspaper speak!) and run right back with "Elway."
Someone's probably getting in deep trouble for this so there's no need to joke, but how is this even possible? It's not like we're talking about Jake Plummer or even a more random Broncos quarterback here. This is Peyton Freaking Manning. He's gonna go down as a better quarterback than Elway when all is said and done.
