Former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was arraigned on Friday in Massachusetts and entered pleas of not guilty to all charges levied against him. Hernandez is facing a total of six charges -- including a first-degree murder charge -- stemming from the June 17 death of Odin Lloyd.

Hernandez, who's also facing five gun charges, will continue to be held without bail. The 23-year-old's defense team didn't request bail, but they can still do so at a later date. Hernandez's next court date is currently scheduled for Oct. 9.

The arraignment marked Hernandez's first time in court since his Aug. 22 indictment.

The defense team for Hernandez believes most of the evidence that connects him to Lloyd's death is circumstantial. Lloyd's body was found on June 17 in an industrial park about a mile from Hernandez's home in North Attleborough, Mass.

Authorities believe that .45-caliber Glock was used to kill Lloyd, however, up to this point, they've been unable to recover the murder weapon. Carlos Ortiz, a man who was with Hernandez on the night of Lloyd's death, has told investigators that he was told by another alleged accomplice -- Ernest Wallace -- that Hernandez was the trigger-man.

No trial date has been set in the case. If convicted, Hernandez could face up to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
