Ndamukong Suh has one fewer thing to worry about.

The Detroit Lions defensive tackle, who's currently appealing a $100,000 fine from the NFL, was investigated in August for allegedly flashing a pellet gun at a cable repairman. However, no charges will be filed against Suh, according to the Detroit Free Press.

According to the police report, the cable guy -- who was working on a utility pole in Suh's backyard -- said Suh pointed a gun at him that "looked like an AK-47." The incident happened on Aug. 16.

Birmingham deputy chief of police Mark Clemence said that Suh was cooperative when questioned about the incident.

Here's Suh's version of the incident from the Free Press:

Suh told officers "that he was 'in fear' for his and family members' safety daily and would always protect his family," according to the report.

"If you think I show aggression on the football field, I would show more to protect my family," Suh told officers, according to the report.

Suh had his sister, Ngum, turn the weapon, a green Gamo Varmint Hunter HP air rifle, over to police for the duration of their investigation. Birmingham police reviewed surveillance video with Ngum Suh on Aug. 20 at the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office.

The security footage backed up Suh's version of events and police decided to not press any charges.
