Larry Fitzgerald tweaks hamstring, questionable for Lions game

During practice Wednesday, Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgeraldtweaked his hamstring. Coach Bruce Arians says that one of the league's best players is questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Fitzgerald did little Thursday and Friday in practice sessions open to reporters, according to the Arizona Republic's Kent Somers, who added that the receiver "appeared a little quicker in Friday's practice than he did on Thursday."

If Fitzgerald can't go, the Cardinals will make Andre Roberts a starter opposite Michael Floyd, and elevate Jaron Brown to the No. 3 role. One problem: Arizona doesn't have a fourth wide receiver on the roster, which means that the team could choose to sign Kerry Taylor off the practice squad, or cornerback Patrick Peterson see more offensive snaps.

Also not helping: tight end Rob Housler is sidelined with an ankle injury. If he's able to go on Sunday, Somers reports that the Cards could get by with three receivers.

Fitzgerald, who has only missed four games since coming into the league in 2004, caught 8 passes for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns in last week's loss to the Rams.
