Was Johnny Manziel 'Kaepernicking' on Saturday against Alabama?

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

The hot trend in football is assigning a particular celebration to a specific quarterback by adding "ing" to their last name. Thanks for that, Tim Tebow. Kaepernicking, then, is kissing your bicep after a touchdown, something 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick made popular.

We can only assume that Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel -- you may have heard of him? -- was paying homage to his fellow mobile signal caller with a little smooch to the arm Saturday after throwing his second touchdown of the day against Alabama.

At the time the Aggies were up 14-0. But by halftime, Alabama scored 28 unanswered points to take a 28-14 lead at halftime. Follow the Texas A&M-Alabama game on SEC Live and make sure to check out our All-22 angle as well.
