Denver's Ryan Clady, one of the best left tackles in the league, reportedly could miss the rest of the season with the Lisfranc injury in his foot, according to the Denver Post.

That obviously would be a worst-case scenario for the Broncos, but on a brighter note, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora points out that Clady could be out as little as a few weeks.

Reportedly, the team is still gathering medical opinions on Clady's left foot that was injured when another player rolled up on his leg Sunday. It's also possible Clady could be placed on the short-term IR list, which would allow him the chance to return later in the season.

“I'm no fortune teller or into tea leaves or any of that good stuff," coach John Fox said after Sunday's game. "I'm into the reporting nature of how we report the game. So right now it's exactly what we said -- it's a left foot sprain -- and when we know something, we'll let all the fortune tellers know."

With Clady battling Giants defenders Jason Pierre-Paul, Justin Tuck and Mathias Kiwanuka on Sunday, the Broncos didn't allow a sack of quarterback Peyton Manning.

In July, Clady signed a five-year contract worth $57.5 million.
