Some people just can't let go of the mildly-disappointing fact that Tim Tebow, currently, is not an NFL player. Or a professional football player at all (despite some overtures by a certain Russian team).
And that apparently is why a group of Tebow and Jaguars fans held a rally Monday at 3:16 p.m. ET (get it?) that was supposed to last for three hours, 16 minutes (get it?!?) to show the team front office why it should sign Tebow to a contract.
This was the result.
As my colleague John Breech wrote earlier, “the Tebow-to-Jacksonville movement is slowly -- like, really, really, really slowly -- gaining steam.”
And here's some free advice. Next time, for a better turnout, perhaps the group can convince Chuck Norris to stop by.
