Champ Bailey inactive for Broncos Monday night

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

For the third-straight week we won't be seeing the Broncos top cornerback. Champ Bailey won't suit up for Denver.

The Broncos made it official Monday evening with Bailey joined by Zac Dysert, Quentin Jammer, C.J. Anderson, Joel Dressen, Chris Kuper and Winston Justice.

Bailey suffered a foot injury in the second preseason game against the Seahawks and hasn't practiced or played since August 17.

Fortunately for Denver they added Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie this offseason and have Chris Harris as well.

Even more fortunately for the Broncos, they're 2-0 so far this season despite dealing with a slew of injuries.

Most fortunately for the Broncos they've got the Raiders on Monday night and can likely advance to 3-0 whether or not Bailey plays.
