We noted during Monday night's NFL blowout -- Denver toppled Oakland 37-21 -- that Terrelle Pryor left the game early after taking a big hit. It turns out that big hit resulted in a concussion.

Pryor took a massive hit on a designed quarterback run as he was sandwiched by a pair of Broncos defenders. He stayed on the ground for a bit while the officials determined if the Raiders quarterback fumbled the ball.

He then stayed on the field, attempted a pair of passes (both incomplete) and left when the Raiders turned the ball over on downs. Denver took over and just before a Montee Ball fumble returned the ball to Oakland, Pryor was spotted walking with Raiders personnel to the locker room for tests.

Matt Flynn then entered the game and helped Oakland score their final touchdown of the game. Afterwards, Pryor wasn't available for comment.

The injury's a nightmare for Oakland. Pryor had just started to have a lightbulb pop on. He didn't dominate against the Broncos Monday night but he was pretty freaking impressive.

Pryor completed 19 of 28 passes for 281 yards and a score, while adding four rushes for 36 yards. The game was probably out of hand before it ever began but Pryor at least kept the Raiders somewhat competitive for stretches.

Now he'll need to try and work through the concussion tests in order to get back for a home battle against the Redskins on a short week.
