Jake Locker suffers hip injury, carted off

Early in the third quarter, Titans quarterback Jake Locker was sandwiched between two Jets defenders and seemed to badly hurt his hip. He gave the thumbs up to the crowd while he was being carted off the field. Ryan Fitzpatrick has replaced him.

Holmes out with a hamstring injury

Making matters infinitely worse for a Jets squad that is struggling terribly against the Titans, receiver Santonio Holmes is out with a hamstring injury.

Michael Bennett suffers scary injury

Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett was badly injured as he attempted to hit Texans quarterback Matt Schaub. As Bennett hit Schaub, his head and back were bent backward in an awkward angle, and he had to be stretchered off the field with his father in attendance. Bennett did show movement as he left the field.

Morris (ribs) questionable

The Redskins top running back, Alfred Morris, has suffered a rib contusion, and he's questionable to return.

Hill out of game with head injury

One of Geno Smith's most important weapons, Jets receiver Stephen Hill has suffered a head injury and is out for the day.

Raiders suffer two running back injuries

Fullback Marcel Reese is out for the game with a knee injury. Though there was hope that running back Darren McFadden could return from his hamstring injury, he's out for the game.

Morgan questionable to return

Redskins receiver Josh Morgan is questionable to return to the game with a hamstring injury.

Eric Fisher (concussion) out for game

Chiefs right tackle Eric Fisher, the No. 1 overall draft pick, has suffered a concussion, and his day for Kansas City is done.

Cushing out with concussion

Texans linebacker Brian Cushing is out of the game with a head injury.

Lardarius Webb questionable to return

Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb, one of the most important players for Baltimore's defense, is questionable to return with a thigh injury. But since he returned for the second half without his helmet and shoulder pads, he's most likely done.

C.J. Spiller getting quad examined

Bills running back C.J. Spiller had to limp off the field in the second half, and trainers reportedly are working on his ankle. He's questionable to return.

Kevin Zeitler (foot) returns to game

Bengals guard Kevin Zeitler had a foot injury that left him questionable, but he returned to the game in the second half. According to press box reports, when Zeitler left, left tackle Andrew Whitworth had to shift to left guard to replace Clint Boling, who moved to right guard to replace Zeitler. Anthony Collins replaced Whitworth at left tackle.

Barron done for the day

Buccaneers safety Mark Barron (hamstring) has been announced as out for the rest of the game.

Joseph leaves game

It's unclear if he's injured, but Texans cornerback Johnathan Joseph has left the game and jogged to the locker room. As his interception of Russell Wilson will attest, Joseph appears to be feeling OK.

Colquitt injured, but returns to game

Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt was injured in the first quater, and he's headed back to the locker room. He was questionable to return with a knee injury, but he's returned to the game. Still, it's clear that he's not 100 percent.

Rashean Mathis suffers concussion

Lions cornerback Rashean Mathis has been ruled out for the day with a concussion.

Bills S Aaron Williams might have shoulder injury

Bills safety Aaron Williams has an apparent right shoulder injury. He has been escorted off the field. Williams already has an interception on the day.

Report: Ray Rice expected to play

Ravens running back Ray Rice is active and will play Sunday at Buffalo. Rice is dealing with a hip injury that had him limited in practice all week. CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora speculates that if the Ravens build a big lead, Rice probably will give way to backup running back Bernard Pierce.

Jairus Byrd won't play

Bills safety Jairus Byrd, who still hasn't played this year because of plantar fasciitis, won't make his 2013 debut as he continues to rehab his foot. Life between Byrd and the Bills still is not great.

Leodis McKelvin inactive for Bills

Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin is inactive for the Week 4 game at home against Baltimore on Sunday. McKelvin suffered a hamstring injury in the Week 3 loss to the Jets. He was limited in Thursday's practice after missing the Wednesday session, but was listed among the team's inactive players despite being called a game-time decision.

McKelvin has played in three games for the banged up Buffalo secondary thus far this season. He has 13 total tackles and has yet to record an interception. -- Jeff Lippman

Injured Vincent Jackson is active

Though it was reported that Buccaneers receiver Vincent Jackson could be out as many as five weeks with the rib injury he suffered last week, Jackson is active. The the Buccaneers want to be cautious with their No. 1 receiver, but reportedly, Jackson was deciding whether to take a pain-killing injection in order to try to play Sunday.

Duane Brown inactive

For the second straight week, Texans left tackle Duane Brown, who's dealing with a toe injury, is inactive. That means Ryan Harris will get the start in his place.

Report: Roddy White to play Sunday

Falcons wide receiver Roddy White (ankle) is expected to play Week 4 vs. New England, reports CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. White is listed as questionable with an ankle injury that has bothered him all season, but he has yet to miss a game. -- Michael Hurcomb

Report: Andre Johnson to suit up Week 4

Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson (shin) will play Week 4 vs. Seattle, a source told NFL.com. As of Friday, Texans coach Gary Kubiak hoped Johnson, who is listed as questionable, would play. -- MH

Report: Rob Gronkowski could wait until Week 6

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski (forearm, back) has already been ruled out for Week 4 against the Falcons, but that doesn't mean discussion about his status has stopped.

Gronkowski has been able to practice and has reportedly looked good, despite not being cleared to play. According to NFL.com, Gronkowski wants to play but is receiving guidance from friends and family to not play until he is fully healed. He has reportedly also told teammates he may even wait until Week 6 against the Saints to make his debut. -- Chris Towers

Rashad Johnson not expected to play

Cardinals defensive back Rashad Johnson, who lost the tip of his finger during last week's game, won't play in Week 4 against the Buccaneers Sunday. -- CT

Report: David Diehl expected to play

Although he originally was listed as doubtful, Giants offensive tackle David Diehl will play, according to Adam Caplan. Reportedly, though, Diehl likely will be used as a backup.

Trio of Bengals DBs inactive

Great news for Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer and receiver Josh Gordon. Bengals cornerback Leon Hall, cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick and safety Reggie Nelson are inactive for Sunday.

Brandon Flowers inactive

Chiefs cornerback Brandon Flowers, who's struggled this season while dealing with a knee injury, is inactive Sunday. Flowers had practiced earlier this week.

Brandon Stokely (groin) inactive

Aside from Jacoby Jones being out (not because of Sweet Pea, y'all), the Ravens receiving corps also will have to play without Brandon Stokely. He's inactive Sunday because of a groin injury.

Ezekiel Ansah active Week 4

Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah is active Week 4 against the Bears. Ansah was considered questionable heading into the game due to an abdomen injury. He'll attempt to go against Chicago. -- Chris Cwik
