It has been a night of records in the Bay Area. Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub started the record-setting at Candlestick Park in San Francisco when he threw a pick-six for the fourth consecutive game, an NFL record.

Twenty-five miles away at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, Charles Woodson made the good kind of NFL history by scoring his 13th career defensive touchdown.

Late in the third quarter, Woodson picked up a fumble by Chargers running back Danny Woodhead and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown. Woodson's record-tying score put the Raiders up 24-3.

Woodson now shares the defensive touchdown record with Rod Woodson and Darren Sharper.

Coincidentally, Rod Woodson and Charles Woodson were teammates in Oakland when Rod scored his 13th defensive touchdown. Rod's score came on a 98-yard interception return against Denver in November 2002, Charles Woodson's fifth-year in the season.

Sharper scored his 13th defensive touchdown in 2009 while playing for New Orleans. Sharper's score came on a 42-yard pick-six against the Dolphins.

Charles Woodson's 13th defensive score comes almost exactly 15 years after his first one. Woodson's first defensive touchdown came on Oct. 4, 1998, on a 46-yard interception return against Arizona.
