Redskins nickname protestor escorted from NFL owners meetings

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

The NFL might be planning to meet with Oneida Nation over the Redskins nickname but that clearly hasn't satisfied everyone. At least one protestor remains unhappy and showed up at the NFL owners' meetings in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday before being escorted out.

CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora was on the scene:

La Canfora added (via email) that the protestor was "trying to get near" where the meetings were occurring when he "exchanged some words with the security people" and "tossed the pamphlets" into the air while security was taking him away from the meetings.

There's no word on whether the protestor is part of a group or simply a random individual acting on his own to fight against the name.
