The Jets are rolling right now, particularly on defense. A major injury to a big-time player like Antonio Cromartie would be a serious problem.

So it's not surprising that the team is worried about, as Rich Cimini of ESPN reports, Antonio Cromartie suffering a non-contact knee injury today in practice.

According to Cimini, Cromartie's going for an MRI and the Jets are "concerned."

They should be: Cromartie's play on Monday against Julio Jones helped the Jets upend the Falcons. He hasn't been perfect this season, but losing him for a major period of time would be a serious issue in New York.

All of a sudden Kyle Wilson and Dee Milliner are bumped up the depth chart. One problem: Milliner's been benched already and is now dealing with a hamstring injury.

Without Darrelle Revis now in Tampa Bay, Cromartie's stepped up to lock down opposing team's No. 1 wide receivers.

Even as good as Sheldon Richardson and Muhammad Wilkerson have been up front, losing a guy on the backend like Cromartie would be a major issue.
