Texans fans cheer Matt Schaub injury in loss to Rams

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

Fans are fickle and right now fans aren't happy with Matt Schaub. But that doesn't excuse cheering when Schaub gets hurt, as Texans fans did on Sunday in Houston's 38-13 loss to the Rams.

Schaub suffered what appeared to be a right foot injury against the Rams after Chris Long landed hard on him. And as he was laying on the ground (the score was 31-6 St. Louis when he suffered the injury), fans began cheering Schaub's injury. They got really got excited when T.J. Yates stepped under center.

Yates, somehow, someway, managed to throw an interception ... that the Rams returned 96 yards for at touchdown. No, really.

The Texans have completely fallen apart somehow and there doesn't appear to be a clear fix in sight. This could get ugly before it gets any better.
