Because he's the best quarterback in the NFL, people really like having Aaron Rodgers on their fantasy team. But that doesn't make it any less awesome to find out that one of Rodgers' owners is his former teammate Brett Favre.
Favre told NFL Network producer Anthony Biase (working in Mississippi with Favre, who appeared on the network Sunday morning) that he's got the Packers QB on his fake football roster.
Now you might think Favre's just paying lip-service to Rodgers but the folks on NFLN asked a follow-up and Favre confirmed.
My guess is that Favre's leaguemates didn't just let him have Rodgers. He probably had to burn a first- or second-round pick on the Packers passer. Which now has me wondering what kind of roster he's got as a whole.
Although the only thing I really care about is that his team's named "The Ole' Gunslingers."
