Devin Hester returns punt for TD, extends his NFL record to 13

By Ryan Wilson | CBSSports.com

Devin Hester broke his own record with his latest punt return for six. (USATSI)

The Bears may be without quarterback Jay Cutler (he left in the second quarter with a groin injury) but they still have Devin Hester.

With six minutes to go in the first half and Chicago trailing 17-10, Hester fielded a Sav Rocca punt at the Bears' 19-yard line and proceeded to outrun 11 Redskins' players to the end zone.

That was his 13th career punt return for touchdown, which extends his own record. It was also his 19th career return touchdown, and that ties Hall of Famer Deion Sanders for the most in NFL history.

Chicago might need a few more of those to neutralize the effect of having Josh McCown replace Cutler under center.
