Washington Bravehearts 'owner' bought WashingtonBravehearts.com

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

Aris Mardirossian, the man who created quite a stir on Friday with the report that he bought a patent for Washington Bravehearts, also purchased the domain name WashingtonBravehearts.com, CBSSports.com has learned.

On Friday it was reported that Mardirossian, reportedly a neighbor of Redskins owner Dan Snyder, also registered Washington Bravehearts, LLC, leading many to believe a possible name change was in the works.

A registration search of WashingtonBravehearts.com on Go Daddy shows that Aris Mardirossian purchased the domain name on October 18, 2013 through GoDaddy.com.

Additional information (including an address, etc) is available. It was not included for privacy reasons.

It's not entirely shocking that Mardirossian would purchase the URL. If he did, as reported earlier, purchase a patent for "Washington Bravehearts," adding a URL with that name would make a significant amount of sense as well.

But it does show there's some sort of coordinated effort in acquiring digital properties related to the name Washington Bravehearts. An request for comment to Mardirossian was not immediately returned.
