Dolphins receiver Brandon Gibson had to leave the game Sunday with a knee injury, and CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora is reporting that the team fears that it's an injury that will end Gibson's season.

“They said it doesn't look too good, so it doesn't look good," Gibson said, via the South Florida Sun Sentinel. "I'm going to keep my head up and try to have the best attitude."

Gibson caught his third touchdown pass of the season on Sunday before he left the game (and before the Dolphins fell 27-17 to the Patriots).

Entering Sunday's game, Gibson ranked second on the team with 29 receptions, two catches behind Brian Hartline

“Each and every game was a good experience for me. I feel like I was getting better," Gibson told reporters. "But this kind of puts a damper on it now. I'll take from my experiences and learn from it.”
