Roddy White inactive for Falcons Sunday

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

It could be another tough day for Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan on Sunday. He'll be without his top weapon, as wideout Roddy White is inactive once again Sunday.

With Julio Jones out for the year (after suffering an injury in a loss to the Jets) and White dealing with a hamstring injury that has bothered him for almost the entire season, Ryan has been without his two primary targets for a few weeks now.

That's a big blow against a Panthers team that has a weaker-than-usual secondary with cornerbacks Josh Norman and Josh Thomas both out.

Tony Gonzalez is playing, though, and should see plenty of targets from Ryan (as well as plenty of bracketed coverage). Don't be surprised if Harry Douglas ends up having a big day as well.

For Atlanta, though, White's absence won't make a tough season any easier on Sunday.
