Cowboys QB Tony Romo happy to help official spot ball

By Ryan Wilson |

There's a subset of NFL fans who like to pan Tony Romo for being a choker. We are not one of those people. In fact, we think he's one of the NFL's best quarterbacks.

Turns out, Romo's also crafty. Midway through the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Vikings, the Cowboys' QB graciously helped the officials spot the football during a first-down measurement.

We love the look of exasperation on the face of the official standing over the ball (No. 32) as Romo moves it. As if dodging errant throws from Christian Ponder all afternoon wasn't enough to deal with.

And in case you missed it, Romo threw one of his patented fourth-quarter interceptions, which he promptly followed up with a patented game-winning drive.
